KIRE Publishing was founded with a passion for storytelling and a deep appreciation for local communities—their histories, homes, and the lives woven within them. Our mission is to capture the spirit of London’s most beautiful neighbourhoods and inspire communities to connect through a shared love of place and heritage.
Our Team
KIRE Publishing was founded by Samuel Patterson and Michael McHale as a natural extension of their mission-driven real estate agency, KIRE. With Sam’s background in Engineering, Entrepreneurship, and Strategy Consulting, and Michael’s experience in high-end Marketing and Estate Agency within the UK property market, the duo brings a unique blend of insight and passion to the publishing world.
Following the success of Remarkable Homes of NW3—a collaboration with author David S. Percy that celebrated local history and brought together the Hampstead community—they were inspired to establish KIRE Publishing to continue exploring and sharing the stories of London’s most remarkable neighbourhoods.
To bring each book to life, we proudly partner with local historians, designers, and photographers—ensuring every publication is visually rich, deeply researched, and thoughtfully crafted.
